Elk Bugle

In Yellowstone you expect to see a lot of elk and we weren't disappointed. The animals were almost in rut, so there was a little bit of bugling going on, but if we came a week or two later I imagine we would have heard a lot of bugling. This is the one shot I managed of a bugling elk. It's quite a ragged sound to come out of these majestic animals, yet impressively loud nonetheless.
